In keeping with one of the pillars of its mission, the cultural exchange with Latin American, Hispanic and Caribbean cultures, the LALCC offers a limited number of grants to support study abroad programs. All the students who are participating in a study abroad program to any of the countries in cultural areas covered by the LALCC can apply for funding.
- Candidates must be in their junior or senior year (minimum 60 credits).
- Candidates must have an overall minimum 3.00 GPA.
- The study abroad program must be related to the cultural areas covered by the center.
- Candidates must have registered for a program in the Center for International Education
The grants are competitive. The amount of money and the number of grants awarded will depend on the budget situation, which changes from year to year.
